UPSA to seize video game consoles from students in Hostels

All resident students have been cautioned not to use video game devices in the school’s dormitory by the management of UPSA Hostels.

Any video game device discovered in a hostel room will be seized, according to a statement, as they are not allowed there.

Management learned that some resident students had taken the forbidden items to the hostel a few weeks prior.

The letter received lot of social media attention, which prompted variety of responses from online users, many of whom disagreed with the school’s decision. 
Others defended the choice, arguing that the school has the right to make its own decisions, while some criticized the school for not being 
inclusive. 
The discussion about the subject gained more traction online.

Some have claimed that even though the students are mature enough to handle their own affairs, high schools still treat them like impressionable youngsters who require guidance.
